BANGALORE, Jun. 11, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (Asian Qualifiers) : Oman defeated India by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 2-1), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Thursday night at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bangalore.
All the action happened in the first half, with goals from Said ('1) and Al-Hosni ('40 on penalty).
The result put the Omani top of Group D with 3 points. In their next game, Oman will meet Turkmenistan at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium on September 3, while India will face Guam.
