ASHGABAT, Oct. 13, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (Asian Qualifiers) : Turkmenistan defeated Guam by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday night at the Köpetdag Stadium in Ashgabat.
All the action happened in the first half, with Abylow goal in the 16th minute.
The result put the Turkmens third in Group D with 7 points. Guam is fourth with 7 points. In their next game, Turkmenistan will meet group leaders Iran at the Köpetdag Stadium on November 12, while Guam will face India.
