TEHRAN, Mar. 24, 2016 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (Asian Qualifiers) : Iran defeated India by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Thursday night at the Azadi Stadium in Tehran.
The result put the Iranians top of Group D with 17 points. India is bottom with 3 points. In their last game, Iran will meet second-placed Oman at the Azadi Stadium on March 29, while India will face Turkmenistan.
