TEHRAN, Mar. 29, 2016 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (Asian Qualifiers) : Iran defeated Oman by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a World Cup qualifying game on Tuesday night at the Azadi Stadium in Tehran. Iran advance to the third round of the ongoing AFC World Cup qualifying campaign. Oman is eliminated.
