World Cup 2018 Qualifiers : Thailand beats Vietnam 1-0
BANGKOK, May. 24, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (Asian Qualifiers) : Thailand defeated Vietnam by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Sunday night at the Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok.
Vietnam made the Thais doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Pokklaw with just 10 minutes remaining in regulation time.
The result put the Thai top of Group F with 3 points. In their next game, Thailand will meet Taiwan at the Rajamangala National Stadium on June 16, while Vietnam will face Indonesia.
