TAIPEI, Jun. 16, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (Asian Qualifiers) : Thailand defeated Taiwan by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Tuesday night at the Taipei Municipal Stadium in Taipei.
Teerasil Dangda scored dual goals
All the action happened in the first half, with goals from Teerasil Dangda ('21, '39).
The result put the Thai top of Group F with 6 points. In their next game, Thailand will meet Iraq at the Taipei Municipal Stadium on September 8, while Taiwan will face Iraq.
