HANOI, Mar. 24, 2016 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (Asian Qualifiers) : Vietnam defeated Taiwan by a score of 4-1 (halftime: 3-1), in a World Cup qualifying game on Thursday night at the My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi.
The result put the Vietnamese third in Group F with 7 points. Taiwan is bottom with no points. In their last game, Vietnam will meet second-placed Iraq at the My Dinh National Stadium on March 29.
