World Cup 2018 Qualifiers : Lebanon beats Laos 7-0
SIDON, Nov. 12, 2015 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (Asian Qualifiers) : Lebanon defeated Laos by a big score of 7-0 (halftime: 4-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Thursday afternoon at the Saida International Stadium.
Chaito scored dual goals
Lebanon dominated the first half thanks to goals from Mohamad ('27), Antar ('34), Chaito ('36) and Hamam ('42). Leading 4-0 at the break, the Lebaneses further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Maatouk '59, Oumari '90 and Chaito '90).
The result put the Lebanese second in Group G with 10 points. Laos is bottom with one point. In their next game, Lebanon will meet group leaders South Korea at the Saida International Stadium on March 24, while Laos will face South Korea.
