ANSAN, Mar. 24, 2016 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (Asian Qualifiers) : South Korea defeated Lebanon by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Thursday night at the Wa~ Stadium in Ansan.
The result put the Koreans top of Group G with 21 points. Lebanon is second with 10 points. In their last game, South Korea will meet Kuwait at the Wa~ Stadium on March 29, while Lebanon will face Burma.
