TASHKENT, Mar. 24, 2016 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (Asian Qualifiers) : Uzbekistan defeated the Philippines by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Thursday night at the Bunyodkor Stadium in Tashkent.
The result put the Uzbek top of Group H with 18 points. The Philippines is third with 7 points. In their last game, Uzbekistan will meet Bahrain at the Bunyodkor Stadium on March 29, while the Philippines will face North Korea.
