CHANGSHA, Mar. 23, 2017 (AMP) — Russia 2018 (Asian Qualifiers) : China defeated South Korea by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2018 FIFA World Cup on Thursday night at the Helong Stadium in Changsha.
All the action happened in the first half, with Yu Dabao goal in the 35th minute.
The result put the Koreans second in Group A with 10 points. China is 5th with 5 points. In their next game, South Korea will meet Syria at the Helong Stadium on March 28, while China will face Iran.
