GERMANY, Sep. 12, 2014 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 5: Three wins in a row for FC Ingolstadt. After their success against SpVgg Greuther Fürth and SV Sandhausen, Die Schanzer continued their sensational form in the 2. Bundesliga with a 4-1 victory over VfR Aalen this Friday.

FC Ingolstadt dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Stefan Lex in the 11th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Die Schanzer further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Hübner '62, Leckie '82 and Hainault '90/own).

FC Ingolstadt 04 climbed to first place with 11 points from 5 games, tie on points with runner-up 1. FC Kaiserslautern.
