GERMANY, Sep. 28, 2014 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 8: RB Leipzig was held to a 2-2 draw by Fortuna Düsseldorf on Sunday.
RB Leipzig players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Austrian midfielder Georg Teigl in the 18th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Teigl goal ('61) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Fortuna Düsseldorf with goals by Joel Pohjanpalo ('60) and Charlison Benschop ('86).
RB Leipzig remains in second place with 15 points from 8 games, one point behind FC Ingolstadt 04.
