GERMANY, Dec. 17, 2014 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 18: Two wins in a row for Darmstadt 98. After their 0-1 win against FC St. Pauli on December 14, Darmstadt 98 continued their sensational form in the 2. Bundesliga with a 2-1 victory over SV Sandhausen this Wednesday.

Darmstadt 98 dominated the first half as a result of the unfortunate own goal scored by midfielder Manuel Stiefler in the 15th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Darmstadt 98 players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Behrens with just 4 minutes remaining in regulation time.

SV Darmstadt 98 climbed to second place with 32 points from 18 games, 7 points behind FC Ingolstadt 04.
