GERMANY, Feb. 6, 2015 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 20: After their 1-1 draw against VfL Bochum on December 21, Erzgebirge Aue bounced back with a 2-0 victory over RB Leipzig this Friday.
Erzgebirge Aue dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Selçuk Alibaz in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Erzgebirge Aue players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Schröder on penalty in the 59th minute.
RB Leipzig remains in 7th place with 29 points from 20 games, 2 points behind Fortuna Düsseldorf, which has a game in hand.
