GERMANY, Feb. 9, 2015 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 20: After losing 2-0 to FSV Frankfurt on December 19 and 0-1 to Eintracht Braunschweig on December 19, FC Heidenheim bounced back with a 2-1 victory over 1860 Munich this Monday.
1860 Munich had started off well by taking the lead in the 29th minute with a goal by Austrian forward Rubin Okotie on penalty. Trailing 1-0 at half time, FC Heidenheim players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Göhlert '55 and Niederlechner '66).
1. FC Heidenheim 1846 climbed to 8th place with 28 points from 20 games, only one point behind RB Leipzig.
