GERMANY, Feb. 8, 2015 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 20: After two straigth victories against Fortuna Düsseldorf and FC Heidenheim, Eintracht Braunschweig lost 2-0 against FC Kaiserslautern.
FC Kaiserslautern dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Philipp Hofmann in the 35th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Die roten Teufel further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Ring in the 73rd minute.
1. FC Kaiserslautern climbed to second place with 35 points from 20 games, 8 points behind FC Ingolstadt 04.
