GERMANY, Mar. 20, 2015 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 26: The match between FSV Frankfurt and SV Sandhausen ended in a 1-1 draw on Friday.
SV Sandhausen players started off well by taking the lead thanks to SV Sandhausen forward Aziz Bouhaddouz in the 22nd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by FSV Frankfurt with a saving goal from Albanian forward Edmond Kapllani on penalty in the 80th minute.
FSV Frankfurt climbed to 8th place with 34 points from 26 games, 2 points behind Fortuna Düsseldorf, which has a game in hand.
