GERMANY, Apr. 5, 2015 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 27: The match between SV Sandhausen and Union Berlin ended in a 1-1 draw on Sunday.

SV Sandhausen players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Austrian midfielder Christopher Trimmel into his own net in the 6th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Union Berlin with a saving goal from SV Sandhausen defender Timo Achenbach into his own net in the 51st minute.

1. FC Union Berlin climbed to 9th place with 35 points from 27 games, tie on points with VfL Bochum.
