GERMANY, May. 17, 2015 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 33: After losing 1-2 to Erzgebirge Aue on May 9, Union Berlin bounced back with a 3-1 victory over FSV Frankfurt this Sunday.

Union Berlin midfielder Maxi Thiel opened the score in the 10th minute, before seeing FSV Frankfurt catch up in the 24th minute thanks to Edmond Kapllani. 1-1 at half time. Union Berlin eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Kobylański ('62) and Kreilach ('81).

1. FC Union Berlin climbed to 9th place with 44 points from 33 games, tie on points with Fortuna Düsseldorf.
