GERMANY, Sep. 22, 2015 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 8: Two wins in a row for FC Nürnberg. After their 2-0 win against SV Sandhausen on September 19, FC Nürnberg continued their sensational form in the 2. Bundesliga with a 3-0 victory over FC Kaiserslautern this Tuesday.
FC Nürnberg dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Norvegian defender Even Hovland in the 42nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, FC Nürnberg players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Schöpf '56 and Burgstaller '61).
1. FC Nürnberg climbed to fourth place with 13 points from 8 games, only one point behind FC St. Pauli, which has a game in hand.
