GERMANY, Dec. 4, 2015 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 17: Three wins in a row for FC Nürnberg. After their success against Eintracht Braunschweig and FC St. Pauli, FC Nürnberg continued their sensational form in the 2. Bundesliga with a 2-1 victory over Paderborn this Friday.
FC Nürnberg dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Niclas Füllkrug in the 34th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, FC Nürnberg players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Leibold in the 73rd minute.
1. FC Nürnberg climbed to fourth place with 27 points from 17 games, 2 points behind SV Sandhausen.
