2. Bundesliga (Week 24) : Bochum defeats Düsseldorf 3-1
GERMANY, Mar. 1, 2016 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 24: Two wins in a row for VfL Bochum. After their 3-2 win against SV Sandhausen on February 27, VfL Bochum continued their sensational form in the 2. Bundesliga with a 3-1 victory over Fortuna Düsseldorf this Tuesday.
Fortuna Düsseldorf had started off well by taking the lead in the 19th minute with a goal by Turkish midfielder Sercan Sararer. Trailing 1-0 at half time, VfL Bochum players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Terodde '63, Eisfeld '67 and Haberer '73).
VfL Bochum climbed to fourth place with 39 points from 24 games, 5 points behind 1. FC Nürnberg.
