GERMANY, Oct. 14, 2016 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 9: The match between VfL Bochum and SV Sandhausen ended in a 2-2 draw on Friday.
SV Sandhausen players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Holer Lucas in the 30th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Knipping Tim goal ('55) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by VfL Bochum with goals by Tim Hoogland ('60) and Johannes Wurtz ('61).
VfL Bochum remains in 7th place with 13 points from 9 games, one point behind 1. FC Union Berlin, which has a game in hand.
