GERMANY, Oct. 14, 2016 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 9: After losing 2-0 to Karlsruher SC on September 30 and 2-4 to VfL Bochum on September 30, Erzgebirge Aue bounced back with a 2-1 victory over FC St. Pauli this Friday.
FC St. Pauli midfielder Marvin Ducksch opened the score in the 3rd minute on penalty, before seeing Erzgebirge Aue catch up in the 39th minute thanks to Kopke Pascal. 1-1 at half time. Erzgebirge Aue eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Breitkreuz Steve seconds before the end of regulation.
FC Erzgebirge Aue climbed to 11st place with 10 points from 9 games, tie on points with SV Sandhausen.
