GERMANY, Sep. 30, 2016 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 8: After their 1-1 draw against Stuttgart on September 23, VfL Bochum bounced back with a 4-2 victory over Erzgebirge Aue this Friday.
Two goals for both sides during the first half, Wurtz (2e) and Eisfeld (14e) for Erzgebirge Aue, Kopke Pascal (5e) and Skarlatidis Simon (12e) for VfL Bochum. After the break, VfL Bochum settled the issue with two additional goals by Gyamerah ('70) and Mlapa Peniel ('90).
VfL Bochum climbed to 6th place with 12 points from 8 games, only one point behind VfB Stuttgart, which has a game in hand.
