GERMANY, Oct. 2, 2016 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 8: After their 2-2 draw against Dynamo Dresden on September 25, the Rothosen bounced back with a 2-0 victory over 1860 Munich this Sunday.
Würzburger Kickers dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Soriano Elia in the 27th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Rothosen further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Muller Felix with just 8 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Würzburger Kickers climbed to fourth place with 14 points from 8 games, only one point behind 1. FC Heidenheim 1846.
