GERMANY, Feb. 12, 2017 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 20: Three wins in a row for Stuttgart. After their success against FC St. Pauli and Fortuna Düsseldorf, Die Roten continued their sensational form in the 2. Bundesliga with a 2-1 victory over SV Sandhausen this Sunday.
Simon Terodde scored dual goals
Stuttgart dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Simon Terodde in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Die Roten further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Terodde with just 5 minutes remaining in regulation time.
VfB Stuttgart remains in first place with 41 points from 20 games, a 5-point lead over runner-up Eintracht Braunschweig.
