GERMANY, Feb. 13, 2017 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 20: After losing 4-1 to SpVgg Greuther Fürth on February 3, Hannover 96 returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over VfL Bochum this Monday.
Martin Harnik scored dual goals
VfL Bochum forward Johannes Wurtz opened the score in the 16th minute, before seeing Hannover 96 catch up in the 45th minute thanks to Martin Harnik. 1-1 at half time. Hannover 96 eventually won the game in the second period with with another goal by Harnik on penalty in the 63rd minute.
Hannover 96 remains in second place with 38 points from 20 games, 3 points behind VfB Stuttgart.
