2. Bundesliga (Week 21) : Bochum beats Würzburg 2-1
GERMANY, Feb. 18, 2017 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 21: After losing 2-1 to Hannover 96 on February 13, VfL Bochum bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Würzburger Kickers this Saturday.
Würzburger Kickers had started off well by taking the lead in the 26th minute with an own goal by defender Tim Hoogland. Trailing 1-0 at half time, VfL Bochum players nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Weilandt '84 and Wydra Dominik '87).
Würzburger Kickers remains in 9th place with 28 points from 21 games, one point behind 1. FC Nürnberg, which has a game in hand.
