2. Bundesliga (Week 21) : Braunschweig and Aue play to a 1-1 draw
GERMANY, Feb. 17, 2017 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 21: Eintracht Braunschweig was held to a 1-1 draw by Erzgebirge Aue on Friday.
Eintracht Braunschweig players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Ghanaian defender Ofosu-ayeh Phil in the 10th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Erzgebirge Aue with a saving goal from Erzgebirge Aue midfielder Dimitrij Nazarov on penalty in the 57th minute.
Eintracht Braunschweig remains in third place with 37 points from 21 games, one point behind Hannover 96, which has a game in hand.
