GERMANY, Feb. 19, 2017 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 21: Two wins in a row for Union Berlin. After their 3-1 win against Arminia Bielefeld on February 12, Union Berlin continued their sensational form in the 2. Bundesliga with a 2-1 victory over Karlsruher SC this Sunday.
Union Berlin dominated the first half thanks to goals from Hedlund Simon ('6 on penalty) and Kinsombi ('37 own). Leading 2-0 at the break, Union Berlin players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
1. FC Union Berlin climbed to third place with 38 points from 21 games, 3 points behind Hannover 96.
