GERMANY, Feb. 24, 2017 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 22: Three wins in a row for Union Berlin. After their success against Arminia Bielefeld and Karlsruher SC, Union Berlin continued their sensational form in the 2. Bundesliga with a 2-0 victory over 1860 Munich this Friday.
Union Berlin dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Steven Skrzybski in the 41st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Union Berlin players further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Hedlund Simon in the 61st minute.
1. FC Union Berlin remains in third place with 41 points from 22 games, tie on points with Hannover 96, which has a game in hand.
