2. Bundesliga (Week 22) : Hannover and Bielefeld play out 2-2 draw
GERMANY, Feb. 25, 2017 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 22: Hannover 96 was held to a 2-2 draw by Arminia Bielefeld on Saturday.
Arminia Bielefeld players started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Hemlein Christoph ('28) and Klos Fabian ('45 on penalty) while Hannover 96 only scored once Harnik ('37 on penalty). However, even though they were leading 2-1 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Hannover 96 with a saving goal from Senegalese defender Salif Sané in the 57th minute.
Hannover 96 remains in second place with 42 points from 22 games, 2 points behind VfB Stuttgart, which has a game in hand.
