GERMANY, Mar. 4, 2017 (AMP) — 2. Bundesliga / Match day 23: After a 2-2 draw with Arminia Bielefeld on February 25, Hannover 96 lost 2-0 against Karlsruher SC.
Karlsruher SC dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Montenegrin forward Stefan Mugosa in the 10th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, KSC further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Diamantakos Dimitris on penalty in the 70th minute.
Hannover 96 are down in third place with 42 points from 23 games, 2 points behind 1. FC Union Berlin.
