ALGERIA, Oct. 27, 2016 (AMP) — Algerian league / Match day 9: After a 2-1 victory over JS Kabylie on October 22, Ouled El-Bahdja lost 2-1 against CA Batna.
CA Batna dominated the first half as a result of the unfortunate own goal scored by Meftah Mohamed in the 20th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Aurés further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Aissa Lazhar in the 62nd minute.
USM Alger remains in first place with 19 points from 9 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up MC Oran, which has a game in hand.
