GERMANY, Sep. 27, 2014 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 6: Two wins in a row for Bayern Munich. After their 4-0 win against Paderborn on September 23, the Bavarians continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 2-0 victory over FC Köln this Saturday.
Bayern Munich dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Mario Götze in the 19th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Bavarians further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Halfar into his own net in the 66th minute.
Bayern Munich remains in first place with 14 points from 6 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Borussia Mönchengladbach.
