GERMANY, Oct. 4, 2014 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 7: Two wins in a row for Eintracht Frankfurt. After their 1-2 win against Hamburger SV on September 28, the Eagles continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 3-2 victory over FC Köln this Saturday.
Alexander Meier scored dual goals
FC Köln midfielder Marcel Risse opened the score in the 15th minute, before seeing Eintracht Frankfurt catch up in the 44th minute thanks to Alexander Meier. 1-1 at half time. The Eagles eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Meier ('54) and Wimmer ('79 own).
Eintracht Frankfurt climbed to fifth place with 12 points from 7 games, tie on points with Bayer Leverkusen.
