Bundesliga (Week 24) : Mainz 05 and M'Gladbach play out 2-2 draw

GERMANY, Mar. 7, 2015 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 24: Mönchengladbach was held to a 2-2 draw by Mainz on Saturday.

Mönchengladbach players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Brazilian midfielder Raffael in the 26th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Raffael goal ('67) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Mainz with goals by Johannes Geis ('73) and Shinji Okazaki ('77).

Borussia Mönchengladbach remains in third place with 41 points from 24 games, 9 points behind VfL Wolfsburg.
