GERMANY, Dec. 17, 2014 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 16: After their 1-1 draw against Bayer Leverkusen on December 14, the Foals bounced back with a 4-1 victory over Werder Bremen this Wednesday.
Mönchengladbach dominated the first half thanks to goals from Kruse ('32 on penalty) and Wendt ('38). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Foals further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Kramer '64 and Hrgota '88).
Borussia Mönchengladbach climbed to third place with 27 points from 16 games, 4 points behind VfL Wolfsburg.
