Bundesliga (Week 16) : Bayern Munich defeats Freiburg 2-0
GERMANY, Dec. 16, 2014 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 16: 7 wins in a row for Bayern Munich. After their success against Borussia Dortmund, Eintracht Frankfurt, Hoffenheim, Hertha Berlin, Bayer Leverkusen and Augsburg, the Bavarians continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 2-0 victory over SC Freiburg this Tuesday.
Bayern Munich dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Dutch forward Arjen Robben in the 41st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Bavarians further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Müller in the 48th minute.
Bayern Munich remains in first place with 42 points from 16 games, a 12-point lead over runner-up VfL Wolfsburg, which has a game in hand.
