Bundesliga (Week 8) : Bayern Munich defeats Bremen 6-0

GERMANY, Oct. 18, 2014 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 8: Four wins in a row for Bayern Munich. After their success against Paderborn, FC Köln and Hannover 96, the Bavarians continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 6-0 victory over Werder Bremen this Saturday.

Philipp Lahm and Mario Götze scored dual goals

Bayern Munich dominated the first half thanks to goals from Lahm ('20), Alonso ('27), Müller ('43 on penalty) and Götze ('45). Leading 4-0 at the break, the Bavarians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Lahm '79 and Götze '86).

Bayern Munich remains in first place with 20 points from 8 games, a 4-point lead over runner-up Borussia Mönchengladbach.
