GERMANY, Oct. 18, 2014 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 8: After three straigth draws, the O-Fives bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Augsburg this Saturday.
Mainz dominated the first half thanks to goals from Hofmann ('21) and Samperio ('23). Leading 2-0 at the break, the O-Fives further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
1. FSV Mainz 05 climbed to third place with 14 points from 8 games, 2 points behind Borussia Mönchengladbach.
