GERMANY, Oct. 18, 2014 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 8: After losing 2-1 to Hoffenheim on October 4, the Royal Blues bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Hertha Berlin this Saturday.
Schalke 04 dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Dutch forward Klaas-Jan Huntelaar in the 19th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Royal Blues further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Draxler in the 65th minute.
FC Schalke 04 climbed to 8th place with 11 points from 8 games, only one point behind Eintracht Frankfurt, which has a game in hand.
