GERMANY, Mar. 1, 2015 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 23: After their 1-1 draw against Hamburger SV on February 22, the Foals bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Paderborn this Sunday.
Mönchengladbach dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by American defender Fabian Johnson in the 18th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Foals further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Herrmann with just 9 minutes remaining in regulation time.
Borussia Mönchengladbach remains in third place with 40 points from 23 games, 7 points behind VfL Wolfsburg, which has a game in hand.
