Bundesliga (Week 23) : Wolfsburg beats Bremen 5-3
GERMANY, Mar. 1, 2015 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 23: Four wins in a row for Wolfsburg. After their success against Hoffenheim, Bayer Leverkusen and Hertha Berlin, Die Wölfe continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 5-3 victory over Werder Bremen this Sunday.
Daniel Caligiuri and Bas Dost scored dual goals
Werder Bremen had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Junuzović ('9), Di Santo ('16) and Vieirinha ('28 own), while Wolfsburg only scored twice Caligiuri ('10) and Arnold ('18). Trailing 3-2 at half time, Die Wölfe nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Dost '48, '51 and Caligiuri '53).
VfL Wolfsburg remains in second place with 50 points from 23 games, 8 points behind Bayern Munich.
