GERMANY, Feb. 28, 2015 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 23: After losing 3-1 to Mainz on February 21, the Eagles returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over Hamburger SV this Saturday.
Alexander Meier scored dual goals
Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Alexander Meier opened the score in the 12th minute on penalty, before seeing Hamburger SV catch up in the 45th minute thanks to Zoltán Stieber. 1-1 at half time. The Eagles eventually won the game in the second period with with another goal by Meier in the 54th minute.
Eintracht Frankfurt climbed to 8th place with 31 points from 23 games, 2 points behind TSG 1899 Hoffenheim.
