GERMANY, Apr. 11, 2015 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 28: 6 wins in a row for Bayer Leverkusen. After their success against SC Freiburg, Paderborn, Stuttgart, Schalke 04 and Hamburger SV, Bayer Leverkusen continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 3-2 victory over Mainz this Saturday.
Bayer Leverkusen dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Korean forward Son in the 15th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Bayer Leverkusen players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Kießling '59 and Çalhanoğlu '73).
Bayer Leverkusen remains in fourth place with 51 points from 28 games, 2 points behind Borussia Mönchengladbach.
