GERMANY, Sep. 26, 2015 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 7: Two wins in a row for Bayer Leverkusen. After their 1-0 win against Mainz on September 23, Bayer Leverkusen continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 3-0 victory over Werder Bremen this Saturday.
Bayer Leverkusen dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Swiss forward Admir Mehmedi in the 31st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Bayer Leverkusen players further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Brandt '58 and Kampl '65).
Bayer Leverkusen climbed to fifth place with 12 points from 7 games, tie on points with VfL Wolfsburg.
