Bundesliga (Week 8) : Bayern Munich defeats Dortmund 5-1

GERMANY, Oct. 4, 2015 (AMP) — Bundesliga / Match day 8: 8 wins in a row for Bayern Munich. After their success against Hamburger SV, Hoffenheim, Bayer Leverkusen, Augsburg, Darmstadt 98, Wolfsburg and Mainz, the Bavarians continued their sensational form in the Bundesliga with a 5-1 victory over Borussia Dortmund this Sunday.

Thomas Müller and Robert Lewandowski scored dual goals

Bayern Munich dominated the first half thanks to goals from Müller ('26, '35 on penalty). Leading 2-1 at the break, the Bavarians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Lewandowski '46, '58 and Götze '66).

Bayern Munich remains in first place with 24 points from 8 games, a 7-point lead over runner-up Borussia Dortmund.
